Currently, the studio is residential based in a private home in the Leslieville neighbourhood in the great city of Toronto. We have available enough space to accommodate small food, product or corporate shoots with one or two people on set. It allows us to keep overhead low so we can work within tight budgets while still delivering fantastic images. When needed we are very close to many of Toronto's finest rental studios which allows us to secure a space thats well suited for each particular job. Available are a variety of surfaces and props. We can fabricate surfaces or if you need special props we know where to rent them. And if you love dogs our Bernese Mountain dog, Baloo is always on hand and loves a good cuddle.
How We Shoot
Studio lighting is our method of choice, and we use our own Paul C Buff strobes which we know well. Also on hand are a wide variety of soft boxes, reflectors, beauty dishes, snoots and umbrellas, we like to be equipped and prepared for whatever we may be requested to shoot. Of course there are always situations where a rental may be necessary and again we are central to several rental houses.
As far as cameras Sony full frame has been our choice and has served us well in both still photography and video work. All images are processed through a 27" iMac or MacBook Pro and we use Capture One Pro for tethered capture and RAW conversion switching to Adobe CC Suite for organization and editing. Our monitors are color corrected using an X-Rite i1 calibration tool. Delivery of files is usually by DropBox and we can also print up to 17" wide on our Epson printer.
If a shoot requires a stylist we have relationships with many of Toronto's finest and will help you choose one that is best suited for the job.
First and foremost we are a professional studio and Robert is an exceptional photographer. We recognize the value of what we produce and account for expenses involved in a shoot when we develop a quote.
There is no "one price fits all" number, each client and each shoot requirement is unique. We will never be bargain basement priced but we will try to the best of our ability to work within a client's budget.
As a professional studio we hold copyright on all our images and license usage to our clients so we can tailor the final deliverable and price to their needs and also ensure we are being fairly compensated for the market value of our work. We are prepared for, and do travel for shoots as well. Working on location is no problem too.
